At the coming of the Morning Star, two Gods were created: Apollyon and Aurora. The Elder God Shaitan attacked and absorbed the essence of Apollyon, and afterwards declared Himself a new God: Sartan, God of Evil.
Circa 326 AF Sartan kidnapped the child-god Pandemonium, offspring of Eris, Goddess of Chaos and Aegis, God of War, and bound him in a fissure beneath Mhaldor, an act which began the War of the Divine Child.
Nearly two centuries later, with the assistance of Keresis, Goddess of Vengeance, Sartan once again split His essence into the original two Gods.
