The War of the Divine Child, as it has come to be called, took place circa 326 AF. It began when Sartan, God of Evil kidnapped Pandemonium from the Eileithyian Tree. It was within this tree that he and his twin sister Pandora, Goddess of Mischief were created after the divine union of Eris, Goddess of Chaos and Aegis, God of War.

The child was revealed to have been bound by Sartan in a fissure beneath Mhaldor. The citizens of Ashtan, Hashan, Cyrene, and Eleusis, as well as many cityless rogues, joined forces to attempt to rescue the divine child.
