Once titled the Malefactor in the days following his birth from the Coming of the [[Morning Star]], Apollyon was absorbed by the Elder God [[Shaitan]] and became part of [[Sartan]], God of [[Evil]]. Later, Apollyon once again reclaimed his individual self, and along with Shaitan rules over the minions of Evil. He has taken on a new title, "the Suffering".
