Aeyr is the God of Magic. It is said that He uses His supreme mastery of the basic foundations of magic to assist the Pentad, of which He is a member, in its alteration and creation of reality. His interactions with mortals, however, are few and far between, and as such mortals at large have come to regard Him as mysterious and aloof.

The Istani mages, minor acolytes of Aeyr, were originally set out upon their Deity's command to protect the cities. Today, however, many have embraced their homes and developed their own unique garb and personality as appropriate to their respective cities' culture, differentiating wildly from their common heritage. Both Ashtan and Shallam developed strictly female membership, the former becoming the War Witches and the latter converting to become Priestesses of the Basilica. The mages in Hashan embraced the Triad, becoming the hooded nocturni, while those of Cyrene reformed themselves into the Ice Mages. Those acolytes that found themselves in Mhaldor dabbled in necromancy, embracing Evil and became the ominious liches. With the founding of Eleusis, Titania ordered some of her followers to learn from Aeyr to protect the newly awakened village, and these acolytes became the dryad enchantresses.

Despite the evolution of differences, they remain connected via their Istani origins, granted only the powers Aeyr initially graced them with in order to protect their homes: electrical damage, magical damage, and webbing.

Like the other Gods of the Pentad, He has no Divine Order.
