The House of Shadowsnakes converted from the serpent-class Guild of the same name and are based in Ashtan.
In the year 374 AF, the Shadowsnakes became a House.
Founding
Cobra, currently known as Rip, a first-generation adventurer of Achaea born on the 4th of Valnuary, 156 AF, was a Serpent in the early Modern Age. In 196 AF, he and his companions, the Shadow Cabal, separated from the Serpentlords Guild to pursue studies on a lost set of tomes. Discovered in a mystical ship once belonging to Sinope at the bottom of remote Lake Balaton, the tomes contained notes, collectively entitled the Mastery of the Shadows, retelling the countless years of experimentation done by the original Serpents, Loki and Ekanel. With the aid of Lady Eris and her occult scholars, this newfound knowledge was condensed into the Shadow Codex, the sentient collection of ancient Serpentine lore who guides the Shadowsnakes in their studies to this day.

- a small black cobra
- This three-foot long black cobra is shiny and sleek. Its yellow eyes stare out from an alien head, and its trademark hood waxes and wanes as it sways its head back and forth.
