Heart of Shadows

Centred within the depths of the Garden of Shadows on the plane of Nishnatoba, the Heart of Shadows, icon of the Shadowsnakes, stood as a beacon for those who sought the power of shadow. Nestled within a bank of darkness, an obsidian altar scrawled with alien runes rose several feet, entwined between the bodies of two enormous emerald scaled serpents. The golden glowing eyes of the snakes left small light trails in the shadows as their heads wove about the monument, quickly fading back into the darkness soon after.
