The period known as the Modern Age began 172 years after the fall of the Seleucarian Empire and continues up to the present day. Erebus was the first mortal to come of age in this time.
Notable events of the modern age include:
- the rise and eventual fall of the modern inceptions of established guilds
- the ascension of the deities Eris, Ourania, and Pentharian
- the rise of the city-states Hashan, Cyrene, Mhaldor, and Eleusis
- the passing of the mantle of creation from Sarapis to Maya
- the establishment of the great houses of Achaea
- the destruction of the ancient Landmarks and the rise of Icons
