The creator of dwarves, Phaestus first used them as intelligent tools and companions. At the beginning of the War of Humanity, his pledge of eternal loyalty to Proteus guaranteed the race the gift of souls.
Phaestus crafted a new hand for Pandora, Goddess of Mischief after her own was lost due to being fused with an artefact belonging to Sarapis. Followed by the honest labourers of Sapience, the month Phaestian was named for him.
