The Sarapin Sacrifice is an annual ritual performed by high ranking members of the city of Mhaldor in the month of Sarapin.

During the ritual, Mhaldorians offer their lives up to placate the God Sartan (or at one time Gods Apollyon and Shaitan) and are beheaded in the Chamber of Sacrifice within the Sartanic public temple.

At the end of the ritual, the ritual celebrant can be heard throughout Sapience, proclaiming the words of Evil. During the separation of Sartan into Apollyon and Shaitan, the ritual was also used as an annual announcement of the city patron for that year, rotating between the twin Gods of Evil.
