Sharks

Sharks are deadly creatures found in the ocean. There are several species that can be found throughout Achaea.

• Blackfin sharks patrol the warm, shallow waters south of the island of Tapoa, feasting on fish that are drawn to the shoals.

• The large bull shark has a broad body that is grey and white. This animal is found in the underwater ruins of Phereklos and keeps to itself, but does not hesitate to make a meal from anyone that might disturb it.

• Hammerhead sharks have black, beady eyes like their cousins and rough, barnacle-speckled grey skin. Approximately thirteen feet long, they roam the waters of the Gulf of Nilakantha. Their heads are, unsurprisingly, shaped like hammers.

• Man-eating sharks have wide mouths filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth. As they circle their prey, they stare intimidatingly with cold, black eyes. These animals can be found in the ocean near the village of Tasur'ke and the area of Sea Lion Cove.

• Spearhead sharks have a body of silvery grey hue and a long tapering head. Their bite is strong enough to break a limb. They infest the shallow waters of Peshwar Delta near the Isle of New Hope.

• Tiger sharks have large maws full of jagged teeth and cold black eyes. Named for their mottled skin, these sharks can be found in the deep ocean near the underwater kingdom of Riparium.

• Whitetip sharks are a common sight in the waters off the Tears of Sarapis, a chain of islets and sandbars in the Notic ocean. Over ten feet in length, irregular white-tipped fins contrast with their mottled bronze skin, giving them their name.
