Little is known of the Merfolk, mermaids and mermen, except perhaps by followers of Neraeos, God of the Sea. Most Merfolk known to Achaea reside in Riparium, an underwater kingdom off the eastern coast of Sapience.
Long ago, before being raided by landwalkers, Merfolk resided in several other underwater cities, including the now-ruined area of Phereklos.
