Nicknamed the Fortune Cookie Monk, Darmong, a black-clad monk, wanders the lands of Sapience, often stopping by bars, breweries, restaurants, and inns to sell fortune cookies at premium prices. He much prefers silence to speaking, responding to those who attempt to strike up a conversation with wise but demeaning sayings such as, "A closed mouth gathers no flies."

Some of his known stopping places are the Crystal Leaf Inn off the Prelatorian Highway, the Worm and Grub in Mhaldor and the The Cyrenian Brewery in Cyrene.

Darmong's Wares

Cookie with a slip of paper inside - 50gp
A thin sheet of dough has been folded over itself to form a hollow cookie around a slip of paper. The cookie itself is crispy and smells sweet, with a bit of blue-dyed sugar sprinkled on its outside for colour and flavour. The slip of paper itself peers out of the cookie at one end, suggesting that it might be more expedient to break open the cookie before eating it.
