Sefyric Ocean

The Sapphire Ocean is the vast expanse of water located to the west of Sapience. Otherwise known as the Western Ocean and, rarely, the Amethyst Ocean, the city of Ashtan overlooks it, and further south, the isle of Mhaldor. Into the deeper ocean lie the isles of Polyargos and Shala-Khulia, and to the far southwest is the nation of Kashar. Below the waves, vast kelp beds can be found, and here herds of hippocampi roam, free of the the presence of merfolk. The Sapphire Ocean is watched over by Sefyr, the ocean spirit of the West, who resides in palaces of coral and sponge.
