Attainment is a skill that encompasses nearly all level-based benefits, such as newbie portals, battlerage, access trade-related abilities, Logosian benefits, multiclassing, dragonhood. All adventurers of every class automatically have the skill of Attainment and earn the abilities therein as they gain levels.
Abilities in Attainment
Ability | Description |
Portals | Godly Rescue |
Access to the Ring of Portals, which will provide convenient access to many useful places throughout the lands.
Battlerage | The rage of battle. |
As you fight denizens, you will build up Battlerage. Your Rage will increase as you do damage to denizens, and will slowly decrease if you stop attacking. Certain abilities only useful against denizens require you to build up and expend Rage. Each class has access to six Battlerage abilities, which will be earned as you increase in level from 6 to 65. By default, you will be notified every time you gain Rage and you can also do BATTLERAGE (or simply BR) to see your current rage.
Market | Sell, sell, sell! |
The market channel is a venue for sellers to quickly find buyers and vice versa. If you have something to sell or need to buy something in a hurry, this is the channel to use! Market use is subject to stricter rules relative to most other channels.
Battle | Danger awaits! |
You are able to attack adventurers and participate in arena events.
Limitedportals | Growing independence. |
You may only access the Ring of Portals 20 more times. Time to start learning your way around! See Landmarks for help getting around without PORTALS.
Independence | Newbie no more. |
Time to stand on your own two feet! You no longer have access to the Ring of Portals. You are no longer welcome in Minia, Lodi, and Mount Gheladan. You no longer have access to the NEWBIE channel.
Tradeskills | Learn a trade. |
Seek out Amarisse at the Delosian Crafters Union in Delos to begin learning a tradeskill. See trade skills for more information and a list of tradeskills.
Theft | Everyone's a target. |
You have advanced to the point that you may become the target of attempted theft. To help protect yourself, use the Selfishness ability in Survival.
Embrace | Full membership in your class. |
The Good News: if you EMBRACE CLASS, then: - you become a full member in the class. - you are no longer a journeyman/journeywoman. - you may train in all class skills without limitation. The Not-So-Good News: if you EMBRACE CLASS, then: - you may not UNEMBRACE class. Ever. - if you decide to leave your class, then you will only receive HALF of the lessons back that you invested in class skills. Prior to embracing class, if you leave your class, you'll receive a refund of about 98% of your lessons invested in class skills. After, you'll receive about 50%. Think carefully about embracing class! This is a very serious decision. Do not make it lightly! A Bit More Bad News: Once you are offered the opportunity to embrace, whether you do or not, you may never return to any newbie area such as Minia or Lodi, not even if you somehow fall to level 20 or lower again. NOTE: If you join a house and reach House Rank 2, you will be able to EMBRACE CLASS at level 30 instead of 50.
Craftsmanship | Learn another trade. |
Seek out Amarisse at the Delosian Crafters Union in Delos to begin learning another tradeskill.

Sustenance | Sleep is for the weak. Food too. |
You will no longer grow more tired or more hungry. Note that this only applies to the natural effects of the passage of time; some special abilities may still cause hunger or tiredness.
Dragonhood | The soul of the Greater Dragon. |
Seek out the crater in the centre of the Mhojave desert and LIGHT the beacon for your desired Dragon colour.
Polymath | Learn another additional class. |
You will continue to gain additional class slots for every 10 levels past 100. |
