Chaos Lords are, fittingly enough, the almighty rulers of the Chaos Plane. Many are deposed members of the Inferno Legions of Pazuzu and the Undead Legions of Slith who were banished there aeons ago, while others are chaos thralls native to the plane.
Occultists who have also achieved transcendency in Occultism may also reincarnate into Chaos Lords and Ladies. The first documented attempt of this, some time during the Burning Times and before the founding of the Seleucarian Empire, resulted in the debacle that came to be known as the Shakira Effect.
Occultists can further bond with these enigmatic Lords through the art of Domination. By bargaining with each Lord or Lady as the Occultist gains in skill, new entities become their servants.
