Located behind a waterfall within the Aalen Forest, the garden landmark was originally defined by two aspects, depending on which powers gained control during a landmarking season. The Garden of Rapture was the positive aspect of the garden, and it could be obtained by collecting numerous morning cloak butterflies with a net procured from Vellis and releasing them into the garden. The Garden of Midnight was the negative aspect of the landmark, and it required duskywing butterflies to be collected and released, rather than morning cloak butterflies.
A failed ritual by the Conclave destroyed the power of the garden landmark, as well as the power of the other landmarks across Sapience. The landmark itself was eventually destroyed outright to create the Goddess Makali in what became known as the Birth of Destruction.
