The Aldar Dekalb is first seen in history as he who discovered Maya after her rape by the Unnamable Horror.
Dekalb came to be a prominent leader of the Aldar, known for his loyalty and humble manner before the Gods. He and his followers were staunch supporters of Proteus at the beginnings of the War of Humanity, though he fell victim to the first instance of murder among the Aldar, slain by the battlemaster, Yen-Sorte.
During some unknown year, Dekalb summoned four elemental being from the different elemental planes. Jeramun, Sorceress of the Seas, Bataoac, and an air elemental. However before his purpose for summoning the elementals was carried out he was slain by Yen-Sorte, lost the elementals hid until the year 757 AF when they were awaken in the Elemental War
