Gems are crystalline rocks that may be cut and polished from raw form for use in jewellery. Raw gems are mined from valleys and mountainous areas. Much like gold, gemstones are sought both for their beauty and for their notoriety as rare and valuable commodities in their own right. Prior to the adoption of widespread adventurer mining, Sapience's primary gem exporters hailed from the mines of Blackrock and Moghedu.
