The '''Priests''' are one of the oldest organisations in Achaea, the detalis of their formation mostly lost in history. Along with the Templars (more recently, the [[Paladins and the Guardians of Light) the Priests formed the two major arms of the [[Church|Church of Achaea]]. The Priests once made their home with the rest of the Church in [[Delos]], but have since moved with the Basilica to [[Shallam]], where they remain a loyal organisation of that city. Traditionally, only those of the Priest [[class]] have been allowed to join, a tradition that continues within the House. The [[skills]] of the Priest class evolved slowly over the history of the organisation, developed after specific events and derived older practices. The skills of [[Spirituality]], for example, were gifted to the ancient Priests by the Hierarchs of [[Celestia]], after being judged worthy of having Angels as guardians. [[Devotion]] is derived from the ancient Rites of the Holy Church, and exist today as more compact versions of the older ones.
