The Muses of Scarlatti are seen as sources of inspiration in the Arts. They are often viewed as the epitome of their fields.
The Garden of the Arts in Cyrene hosts statues in tribute to each of the traditional Muses.
The Muses had previously taken the form of forest spirits, choosing to mimic these gentle souls of Nature, but have now returned home to the Temple of Scarlatti. The true Muses are:

- Rennibrande, the Proclaimer, the Muse of History
- Sharnya, the Fair Voiced, the Muse of Storytelling
- Vivania, the Lovely, the Muse of Poetry
