Buffalo

Buffalos are large, fearsome ungulates with sharp horns and watery, black eyes. They have short tails which they use to flick insects away from their shaggy brown coats. The slow-moving bovine herds can be found roaming the Dardanic and Sangre Plains of Sapience, grazing on the harsh northern grasses.

Buffalo are useful creatures to adventurers. Their hides are tough and resilient while their flesh is musky and sweet and essential to the cuisine of some restaurants. Buffalo horn is a reagent gathered for use in the milling of inks.
