The Lady of Sleep and Dreams, Valnurana, was one of the Elder Gods created at the dawn of time. Sleep is a time of healing while dreaming runs the gamut of pleasant fantasy to brutal scenes of carnage. It is said that all dreams originate from Her and their meaning is known only to those who seek answers within themselves.
Valnurana was roused and returned to mortal perception during the Jade Icon Saga. Since that time She has been pivotal in many events within the realm, including the War of the Divine Child, the birth of Selene, as well as suffering at the hands of Sartan prior to His downfall at the hands of the Divine Alliance.
The four angels of dreams, Alp, Cur, Dibbuk, and Erinyes are Her heralds within the world, themselves the four nightmare spirits that were trapped in the Jade Icon in the past. Her symbols are the orchid and the black swan, both tied back to history within Her order, the Obeah Ecstasia.
