Remedies
Remedies is the skill of converting or minerals into curative elixirs and salves.
Based on what you're making these curatives from, there are two methods for formulating them: BOILING for plant-based cures and TRANSMUTATE for mineral-based cures.
Boiling
Place the required herbs into your pot with the following command:
INPOT <#> <ingredient> IN <pot>
You may concoct multiple batches of an elixir or salve at once. Multiply the number of each ingredient by the number of batches you want up to forty batches.
Once you have all of the ingredients in the pot, put it on the ground and:
BOIL <pot> FOR <remedy>
After a couple of minutes, the mixture will stop boiling, and you will either have an empty pot or a remedy. Probing your pot will give you this information.
Transmutating
Have the ingredients in your inventory and:
TRANSMUTATE <#> <remedy> IN <alembic>
You may transmute multiple batches of an elixir or salve at once. Multiply the number of each ingredient by the number of batches you want up to forty batches.
Using your concocted remedy
Depending on the skill level of the practitioner, and the container than the remedy is being poured into, a "batch" of a remedy is worth a differing amount of sips:

Boiling | Learn the art of boiling. |
This will allow you to boil mixtures, to form valuable concoctions. | |
Transmutate | Combine primes and metals to create curative substances. |
You may combine primes to form curative elixirs. TRANSMUTATE <#> <fluid> IN <alembic> will create fluids which may be sipped or applied. This can be done anywhere, but requires possession of an alembic. The # in the command represents the number of fills produced via transmutation; five fills are needed to completely fill a regular vial. This requires the appropriate ingredients and ability in Transmutation. DECANT <alembic> INTO <vial/tun> [<#> TIMES] will fill a vial or tun (if you have permission to fill the tun) from an alembic. If you do not specify the number of fills, you will fill it once. This requires the alembic to have sufficient fluid inside. | |
Immunity | A brew to help you shrug off deadly poisons. |
The immunity elixir will protect you from poisons that kill. | |
Epidermal | A salve to cure certain exterior afflictions. |
The epidermal salve is used to cure afflictions on the exterior of your body, such as deafness and blindness. | |
Mana | A brew to replenish your mental strength. |
The mana elixir will replenish your mana when sipped. | |
Health | A brew that will heal your wounds. |
The health elixir is a powerful and useful one that will replenish some of your health. | |
Venom | A brew to increase your resistance to poison damage. |
The venom elixir has the power to increase your resistance to damage from poison. | |
Frost | A mixture to increase your resistance to fire. |
This powerful elixir will help keep the body temperature down protecting you from fire. | |
Caloric | A salve to increase your resistance to the cold. |
The caloric salve, when applied to the body, will help protect you from intense cold. | |
Levitation | A mixture that allows you to hover. |
The levitation elixir when sipped will cause you to float a couple inches off the ground. This cushion of air will help protect you from great falls and several ground based attacks. | |
Diamond | Powdered diamond dust. |
Inpotting powdered diamond dust. | |
Mending | A salve to repair your broken body. |
The salve of mending can be used to heal minor broken limbs as well as putting your body out if you are on fire. | |
Mass | A salve that will greatly increase your weight. |
The salve of mass will cause your body to become extremely heavy making it more difficult for others to attempt to move you. The extra weight can also have adverse effects if you try running too fast. | |
Speed | An elixir to slow your perception of time. |
The speed elixir can increase your ability to dodge some attacks, such as tekura and weapon attacks. | |
Gold | Liquid gold. |
Inpotting gold works slightly differently. You will always inpot in increments of 20 gold. Obviously, you must have at least 20 gold on your person. INPOT 3 GOLD IN pot123 would put 60 gold in the pot. | |
Restoration | A necessary salve for healing mutilated body parts. |
A restorative salve is used to heal limbs that have been badly damaged. It may sometimes take two uses to fully heal a limb. It may be applied to any of the six body parts. |
