Elara was one of the seven Offspring. After her sister Lysithea was lost to the Crystal Plane, Elara began searching for an entrance into it. As she was experimenting with opening doors to other planes, a great scaled hand reached out from a doorway. As Himalia and Ledo looked on, helpless to do anything, Elara was dragged screaming through the doorway and never seen again by humankind.
Summarily imprisoned and raped by the reptilian denizens of Krenindala, Elara gave birth to a slave race of lesser, lizard-like creatures called Xoran.
