There are several stables across the lands where mounts of all sizes are sold to adventurers.
:This page is about the form of currency. For uses in construction, please see Housing credits.

The higher an adventurer achieves in the Riding skill, the more mounts and skills they will have available to them. Additionally, a mount with wings will be able to carry its owner into the skies once the owner reaches the ability of Flying.
Credits are an immaterial form of currency, considered by some adventurers to be more valuable than gold, that can be used for several things. A liquid tender, credits may be freely bought, sold, transferred, or traded between adventurers on the open market, sometimes for staggeringly high prices.

Mount owners must remember to feed their new steed, or the mount will starve to death. Mounts can be fed with any food from across the land. To feed your mount, you must use the following syntax: FILL <mount> FEEDBAG WITH <food>.
Neocredits were the currency of young adventurers, an obsolete form of bound credit awarded upon achieving various level threshholds. Replaced by bound credits system in 415 AF, they could only be converted into lessons towards learning skills.

A Collar of Lupus will reset your loyal mount to your inventory approximately every eighteen Achaean days and will ensure it may never permanently die.
Bound credits are credits which have been bound to an adventurer for personal use, either converted from normal credits or acquired as rewards via promotions or purchased in the renown shop. While they cannot be bought, sold, or transferred, credits become most useful in this form. Bound credits exist to be converted into lessons, which are the currency of learning, to purchase artefacts, permits, and licenses in Delos or to be used for item upgrades and customisations. They can be traded in for 6 lessons per credit. The first 1000 credits that an adventurer converts to bound credits receives a bonus 2.5 lessons per credit bound. Certain artefacts (typically consumeable rewards from globes, stockings, and giftbags) can be redeemed for bound credits.

Artefact upgrade credits are credits which can only be used specifically towards the cost of upgrading artefacts. For instance, for upgrading an Orcsplitter Battleaxe to a Stonereaver Battleaxe or upgrading from a Sash of Wisdom to a Sash of Caymus. Upgrade credits have a 1:1 value to normal credits, and are sometimes awarded as promotional prizes. They can also be traded in for 3 lessons per credit.
There are several mount sizes: Mule, pony, lighthorse, mediumhorse, heavyhorse, warhorse, greaterwarhorse, and legendsteed.

;Mule: stubborn mule, small burro, A stubborn mule of Moghedu.
Customisation credits are credits used only to add reactions or alter the appearance of artefacts, items, or minipets. They are not eligible for purchase of artefact pets. They have a 1:1 value to normal credits and are transferrable like normal credits.
;Pony: sleek pony, stocky gypsy's pony.
;Lighthorse: light horse, sorrel desert mare, blue roan, black and white striped zebra.

This page is about the form of currency. For uses in construction, please see Housing credits.

Credits are an immaterial form of currency, considered by some adventurers to be more valuable than gold, that can be used for several things. A liquid tender, credits may be freely bought, sold, transferred, or traded between adventurers on the open market, sometimes for staggeringly high prices.

Neocredits were the currency of young adventurers, an obsolete form of bound credit awarded upon achieving various level threshholds. Replaced by bound credits system in 415 AF, they could only be converted into lessons towards learning skills.

Customisation credits are credits used only to add reactions or alter the appearance of artefacts, items, or minipets. They are not eligible for purchase of artefact pets. They have a 1:1 value to normal credits and are transferrable like normal credits.
