The Eagle's Perch is a shop operated in partnership with the Achaean Combat Association in Delos. Attached to the Matsuhama Arena, its proprietor is Phileo, and he accepts only Delosian Eagles in exchange for his exclusive stock. None of the merchandise may be made non-decay, resetting, or resold in other shops.
Wares
- Brawny, sharp-tusked mastodon - 60de
- Coloured and textured like tanned leather, weather-beaten skin armours this colossal pachyderm from wrinkled trunk to drooping tail. His great mass rises approximately nine feet from the ground, supported by stubby feet beneath thick, muscular legs. Two dark, beady eyes peer out from behind a pair of sharply curved tusks, and oar-like ears complete the ensemble as they flank each side, giving his face a wizened appearance. Hidden behind the protruding trunk, peaked teeth line the mastodon's mouth, exposing this gentle giant as herbivorous.
- Silvery warpaint - 15de
- The oaken vial is carved into the shape of a fist, with the top being the thumb.
- The blade of the Slayer - 150de
- The ancient and nearly decrepit blade of the Slayer wears the scars of time, each battle remembered as a scratch marring the steel or a stain along the insidious jagged edges. Various clothes from a myriad of cultures and races bind the hilt, each strengthening the grip that supports the awkwardly massive sword, the weight of both its materials and sins heavy for any that dare grasp the murderous tool. A twilight miasma drifts along the weapon, beckoning those that would wield it into war.
- Thirsty faced urn - 99de
- An obsidian lid with the seal of Brarra trembles about noisily on this truly obtuse urn. The gruelling countenance of a man in anguish comprises the basin, bearing squinched eyes that steaming tears trickle from and peeled back, cracked lips. Made of a volcanic glass, the surface looks polished to a superfluously, exquisite sheen that glows warmly with a dull heat irradiating from the container.
- Starmetal helm - 99de
- Deepest midnight tinged with darkened violet ripples across the surface of this full-face helm. The meteoric iron of its forging is pockmarked with holes to create a grille through which breath might escape, while the visored faceplate elongates to a narrow, convex point. In tongues unknown and indecipherable are myriad words etched into the metal, while twinned rubies nestle where eyes would rest to further its uttermost concealment of the wearer.
- Miniature stone statue - 40de
- Carved from grey stone, this miniature statue vaguely resembles a human head. Absent entirely of body, the flattened base connects instead to the neck, where a narrow spindle allows for the disembodied skull to rotate freely. While the ill-proportioned face bears few distinguishing features, this blank visage is accentuated by the presence of two glowing jade green eyes, consuming all in their field of vision with disturbingly accurate sentience.
- Token of Phileo - 3de
- Comprised of pure silver, this circular token shows its age by the lacklustre shine and plethora of nicks along the thin circumference. The face of the coin bears the unmistakable likeness of Phileo, the detailed sharp, pointy teeth and slicked back hair a dead ringer for the Registrar. Inlaid with a small bit of gold, the magnificent Sarapin plinth is represented on the other side, standing tall above a winding river.
