Xenius Kyra

Count Xenius Kyra was a noble during the Wars of Succession, and one who pledged his support to the aristocracy-centric cause of Duchess Castomira Brangwin. It was at his provincial manor that Xenius lured Princess Catarin deSangre into a trap disguised as a dinner arrangement - an arrangement to which, unbeknownst to the princess, Castomira and her underlings had also been invited. Chief among these underlings were Trenton Deis, the assassin, and Lord Damen Kephry, in reality a Catarine double agent who was using his assumed backing of young Parni's right to the throne as a back-alley avenue to Catarin's succession. It was also at Count Xenius' dinner party that Catarin slew Deis, before turning the might of the Staff of Nicator upon Castomira for the first time. Castomira escaped the encounter. As his mansion stood in ruins thereafter, it can be assumed that Xenius did not.
