Aeolos, son of Aeotar, was the first Hand of Neraeos. A Triton of noble birth, Aeolos befriended Neraeos long before the latter became a true God. During this time, the two had many adventures along with a group of fellow Triton companions. Upon the death of Caspian, Aeolos became the head of the Order of the Sea. He was known to be a light-hearted, mischievous man, who saw the good in landwalkers. He ruled the oceanic religion for many years until he was slain by Borak while defending Hashan from the ravages of the cold spirit. The figurehead of Aeolos was named in his honour.
