Zaphar, the Old Man of the River, is the guardian of the great Zaphar River.

History

In the year 385 AF, the ancient spirit was bid by Neraeos to watch over a sacred tear shed by the Goddess of the Moon. Nestled within a hidden temple in Riparium, he tended to its growth. The ever-expanding tear blossomed into the young Goddess Kastalia, and for his efforts Zaphar was instantly seen as a devoted affiliate of the Order of the River.
