Urania, the Spirit of the Darkenwood, has been one of the more active of the forest spirits in modern times. Closely attuned to the forest she protects, shadowy Urania has seen much turmoil over the years but now dwells peacefully among the arachnoi of the Darkenwood.

During the War of the Divine Child, the Darkenwood was nearly drained of energy by the machinations of Sartan, nearly unraveling Urania in the process and destroying the forest. Only through a ritual merging Urania with Propasia were both spirit and forest able to be healed. Both spirits remained side by side until Propasia's ascension into the Goddess Artemis.
