The Tears of Sarapis are a chain of sandy islands bridging much of the Notic Ocean. According to legend, they fell to the sundered gap between Sapience and Meropis when Sarapis, the Logos, mourned the fall of Seleucar.
Today, the Tears are one of the primary means by which travellers trek across the Notic. Their presence breaks up the otherwise limitless storms of the ocean, allowing for the particularly adventurous to swim or fly along their span.
