Seril, a Shastaan merchant originates from the village of Shastaan, and has put aside his old life as a fisherman to enter the merchant business within the Martei Memorial Tradepost. Taking the oppurtunity to learn trading by trial and error, the mixed results are overseen by his wife Maerlyle.
Seril is also a known member of the The Vigil, a group studying the elements and was a profund effect in the elemental war and finding the lost elementals of Aldar Dekalb.
