History

Nimick is a mining town that was once a haven for those fleeing the Ashtan-Shallam wars. On 3 Daedalan, 423 years after the fall of the great Seleucarian Empire, Nogak left the village and made a public news post. In this post he claimed to be the rebel leader of Nimick, a town that had hidden itself for far too long, a state he and the other rebels wished to see ended. His mission complete, adventurers are now a common site to the village.

Culture

Founded by two refugees of the Ashtan-Shallam wars, Nimick has been long hidden from the adventurers of Sapience. Though the people have always been aware of the goings-on of the outside world, they chose to stay safe and protected in their village, infrequently sending villagers out into the world to covertly trade goods, purchase supplies, and bring back tidings of the world. They have mined expansively beneath the Siroccian Mountains to connect to the orcish caves in the northeastern area.

Shops

The Blind Burro Inn sells a variety of local food and drinks. A dimly-lit log cabin, it is a welcome respite to the hard-working miners of the mines. A watercolour painting of the founding of the village hangs above the bar.

Flora and Fauna

Goldenseal and lady's slipper can be found in the fields to the west of the village. Fields of corn lie in the southwest area of the village while tumbleweed bounces about the corrals to the southeast.

Filthy burros and stag beetles can be found in the mines, hitched to carts which they pull through the tunnels. Sheep graze in pastures to the west of the mines. In the southeast area of the village, a corral of horses can be found. Dogs and crows seem to roam about wherever they like.
