After the death of Lian, her father, Captain Kelley, Mayor of Mysia, succeeded him as leader of the pirate people of Mysia. One of her more notable policy changes was to open the port to outsiders, bringing new life to the pirate cove.
The vast majority of the island respects her leadership, but Jarvace, the adopted son of Lian, resents it, as well as her love affair with the Tsol'aa mage, Cassian.
