Jitaka is a blue Horkval originally from the island of Ulangi. She was too weak for the hive there so came to the main continent to talk and tell stories. She can be found in Bagwar's Copse asking passing adventurers for aid with her story-writing.

Uncharacteristically fragile for her kind, Jitaka has an indigo carapace that, although lustrous, appears brittle and able to offer only menial protection to her pale blue skin underneath, which is lined with thin, white bands. Wearing a voluminous cloak boldly patterned with blue and green diamonds, she wields a quill in one hand and a whole sheaf of rolled-up parchment in the other.
