Isildur, the Iceman (20th of Daedalan, 157 AF – ?), was originally a renowned Occultist before he gave up his evil ways for the life of a Paladin. During the Year 200 celebratory events, he became the first person in two centuries to win and hold aloft the coveted Staff of Nicator. Eventually, he became a Vizier of Shallam and its first Sultan in the Modern Age, as well as the first modern Archprelate of the Church. At one time, he was the richest mortal in Achaean history.

The remains of Isildur are now entombed in a mausoleum within Matsuhama's temple, the Halls of Combat.
