Hyenas

Hyenas are native to the deserts of Sapience, powerful scavengers with strong jaws that have a nasty bite. Usually not known to start violent encounters, they are known to be harsh fighters when confronted, though, especially those that reside within the Lupine Hunting Grounds.

Forestals with the metamorphosis skill will, with enough training, gain the abilities of this stealthy animal allowing them to leap over obstacles like a Horkval, drain the mana from an opponent with a blood-curdling howl, and more. Those bonded with the animal spirit of the hyena travel with a grating laugh.
