The Charcoal black hippogriff was an artefact sold by Merentesh at the Shop of Wonders in Delos. The mount was endowed with the gift of flight as well as a Collar of Lupus. The steed had the body of a horse with the head and wings of an eagle. Rather than hooves, its forelegs were talons, also like a bird of prey. The hippogriff was a shiny charcoal black, almost blue.
