Ascension

Ascension refers to the process by which a mortal becomes a God. To date, only three such mortals have ever achieved such an accomplishment. They are:

• Servelan de Vermiis, who was transformed into Eris Goddess of Chaos by summoning the Spawn of the Unnamable Horror.
• Elentari Lokelinde-Danial, who attained Divinity as Ourania, Goddess of the Moon through the collective Will of the Gods
• Maran La'Saen ascended to Pentharian, God of Righteousness in his attempt to awaken the sleeping Deucalion.

It is believed that no other mortal may ever Ascend in such a fashion again, however adventurers have taken to refer to those who have become Celani as having Ascended.
