Observing the world through sparkling green eyes, Yuli stands with a relaxed stature, carrying her tiny frame proudly. A tangle of unruly brown locks ends just below her jaw, framing her apple-shaped face. Her features are endearing and youthful, and a smudge of sun-kissed freckles brushes atop her minute nose and pudgy cheeks. Her short body is clothed in a simple white and pink sundress held up at her shoulders with two slender straps, falling down gracefully around her slightly plump form, pulled somewhat around her round rear and hemmed at her knees. Her hands and bare feet are small, and a sweet-smelling white flower is tied around one of her toes, matching a large ivory blossom fastened around her wrist.
I just wanted some clarification - How do we do wares lists? Omit words like a or an, include or don't include "liquids" (for example, just "oyster shot glass" and not "vodka (oyster shot glass)")? Etc. --Slurpz 04:00, 8 May 2008 (GMT)
- I don't think there's a standard protocol for this, but personally I would include everything the actual wares list includes, like articles and drink specifics in parentheses. Asara 13:32, 8 May 2008 (GMT)
- Oh ok but almost no pages do that. I agree drink specifics could be put in, but I think not including articles is better. --Slurpz 16:37, 8 May 2008 (GMT)
- ??? This page adds articles, as well as here, here, and here. It matters not to me which we end up choosing, but including articles would leave out risk of error and further complication if we report them exactly like they are presented in-realms in the wares list. If the item begins with "a" or "an", we will include it. If it doesn't begin with "a" or "an", we won't. But that's just me. Asara 17:06, 8 May 2008 (GMT)
- Looks like to me artefact shops have their own format which is just to take the lists down directly and not give descriptions. Denizen shops and denizen wares don't follow that at all save for a few such as this one and Arms of the Tides. Arms of the Tides needs to be changed anyway since it capitalizes the wares indiscriminately. Avoiding articles and leaving out liquid contents seems like a good way to not completely copy-and-paste and to be more IC because who really says "*a* striped beach towel" is for sale when they give a wares list? --Slurpz 19:05, 8 May 2008 (GMT)

Subjectively omitting drink contents does not seem to be thorough and in the best interests of Lore completeness, but I suppose it doesn't really matter. Anyone else have a preference? Asara 21:44, 8 May 2008 (GMT)
- I think it should be left out of the actual list of object names, since the description that follows is always about the container as you cannot probe the liquid, but we can add the "<whatever> sloshes inside." line as part of the description to be clear. --Slurpz 01:01, 9 May 2008 (GMT)
