Kelpie

Kelpies are mysterious equines which roam the wilderland shores of Annwyn. Shrouded in wraith-like mist, the water horses have grey coats and white wind-blown manes. Magical beasts, their immaculate ivory hooves carry them across lake and loam alike. Nightfall transforms them into enraged stallions, their blood-curdling whinnies filling the enchanted wood with animalistic terror.

Although quite haughty beasts, rumour speaks of secret fairy taming methods, allowing magnificent kelpies to be occasionally bought as mounts at auction or at the Fae Shop with shining teardrops.
