Puppetry
Puppetry is a skill that lets you create an empathetic link between a puppet and someone else. By making this link stronger through repeated refinements of the puppet, you can affect that person from afar. Puppetry is often confused with the Shaman skill of Vodun, though one would do well to remember that puppets are not dolls, and vice versa.
The Puppetry skill is available to members of the Jester class, along with Pranks and Tarot.

Details: | In order to fashion a puppet, you first need to get yourself 2 wood commodities. After you fashion the first time, you will have for yourself a crude humanoid puppet. In order to make it actually useful, you must then wield the puppet, and FASHION PUPPET OF <target>. As you fashion your puppet of an adventurer over and over, you'll notice that it gets closer and closer to being a semi-living puppet. Further, the more fashions you have with your puppet, the more Puppetry powers will be able to be channeled through the puppet. Additionally, your puppet will decay at a rate of 50% every 6 minutes after the last fashion. This effect does not occur for puppets of allied adventurers. If you find yourself in need of destroying a puppet that is no longer in your possession, you may unravel it from afar. Note that this is a difficult feat, and will result in being thrown off balance for a long period of time. |
