Krug's Discontinued Wares
a pair of armoured, spiked sabaton - 1000gp : These blackened, armoured boots have articulated plates that overlap to allow for walking and have a large spike at the front designed to disable foes with a stout kick.
blackened greaves - 1000gp : These steel greaves have been blackened with boot polish that reflect little. One rather large plate protects the shin, while another covers the instep, the entire ensemble is readily strapped onto the leg, outside of clothing and footwear. A black hand facing palm outwards has been embossed onto the metal which illuminates the alignment of the wearer.
a blackened chainmail coif - 500gp : Crafted from small rings of steel that are twisted and clamped together firmly, the laborious work of many hours result in this strong mail coif. Replacing a helm, it covers the head and neck yet keeps the face clear to allow proper vision. The steel rings have all been blackened with polish to match the armour style of the dread Maldaathi.
a Mhunskin backpack - 500gp : At first glance, it would appear that this backpack is made from the finest leather, carefully tanned and oiled to a brown deep enough to radiate a nearly black sheen. However upon closer inspection, the grain and quality of the leather goes far beyond that of any ordinary craftsmanship. The material was harvested from the skins of Mhun slaves before being treated, then sewn into a backpack with two straps to be slung over the shoulders of the bearer. This gruesome and utilitarian trophy is the mark of a true Mhaldorian.
a blackened medallion - 1000gp : A perfectly round small medallion with edges of highly detailed patterns set on blackened steel covers most of its surface. A silver human skull penetrated by two crossed longswords is embossed onto it with a blood-red inverted pentagram. The plate bears the motto, 'Equites Sartai' inscribed in fine gold.
a pair of razor-edged gauntlets - 740gp : These gauntlets of gleaming black steel have been forged in the fires of the underworld and cooled in the blood of daemons. The armour embraces the wearer's arms and extends over the back of the hands, protecting the wrists. Stained the colour of blood, suede covers the hands and leaves them free to move without constraint. Three razor sharp blades thrust outward from the side of the gauntlet, like cruel feathers.
a blackened pair of bracers - 1500gp : Crafted of hardened steel and containing malevolent engravings, the superior workmanship is highly beneficial to the wearer and is designed to cover the wrist and forearm, while not hampering the movement or articulation of the arm. A single ruby has been embedded into the metal, to represent the scrutiny of the Eye of Sartan.
