Zaphar (spirit)

Zaphar, the Old Man of the River, stands at the entrance of the temple of Kastalia with dark red robes, a long white beard, and a lantern full of fireflies. Bid by Neraeos to watch over His Divine daughter, Zaphar is the living spirit of the Zaphar River, his form varying from solid to transparent at any given moment. River spirits are akin to forest spirits in terms of duties and connection to their respective natural habitat.
