Living Tarot

The icon of the Carnivalis Institute of Jestering is the Living Tarot. Like all true icons, it can be found on the plane of Nishnatoba, in an area named the Carnivali's Causeway.

A rectangular slab of multicoloured threads of light, woven into a shimmering whole, towers a dozen feet into the air: the Icon of the Living Tarot, powerful artefact of the Carnivalis Institute of Jestering. The threads shift, forming recognisable images upon the surface, each image lasting the moment of a breath before melting into another. The images of the Tarot dance before you: the Fool, the Magician, the Emperor, through the entire Arcana to the Universe then returning to the Fool once more. The light-braided image before you is alive, and in proximity causes the very cells of your body to vibrate with a low thrum.
