Adventurer death in Achaea is not permanent, resulting in only experience loss and sometimes hurt pride. An adventurer dies when his or her health drops to zero.
The only time death is permanent is when an adventurer commits suicide. Creature or denizen death can be either temporary or permanent, depending upon Godly will. The Huskmaker relic, however, can magically animate dead adventurers for a short time.
The topic of Death can be further explored, theologically or otherwise, through Thoth, God of Death, and his related influences on the world.
