Ascension refers to the process by which a mortal becomes a God. To date, only three such mortals have ever achieved such an accomplishment. They are:
- Servelan de Vermiis, who was transformed into Eris, Goddess of Chaos by summoning the Unnamable Horror.
- Elentari Lokelinde-Danial, who attained Divinity as Ourania, Goddess of the Moon through the collective Will of the Gods
- Maran La'Saen ascended to Pentharian, God of Righteousness in his attempt to awaken the sleeping Deucalion.
It is believed that no other mortal may ever Ascend in such a fashion again.
