Enraged, Adchachel persued Tesha all the way to Aster Keep on Meropis where he cornered her in his old laboratory, where he unexpectedly was met with a force of adventurers who burned him alive, reenacting his original death years ago. | |||

Aster Keep is all that remains of the Seleucarian province of Aster Malik. When the continent of Meropis was sundered from Sapience, the duchy of Aster Malik also destroyed, leaving only the keep on a spit of land which is now called the Asterian Peninsula. The way to the keep was barred to outsiders until the year 772 AF when the wayward spirit of Adchachel possessed the body of O'ising, the shaman of Aran'riod.
O'ising, possessed by Adchachel, wandered to his home of Ashtan where he was informed that he was long dead and his Occultist guild was no more, which confused the spirit. Adchachel learned that a mortal, Tesha al Ashtad, held the legendary Staff of Nicator and assumed her a thief. Enraged, Adchachel persued Tesha all the way to Aster Keep on Meropis where he cornered her in his old laboratory, where he unexpectedly was met with a force of adventurers who burned him alive, reenacting his original death years ago.
After the incident with the spirit of Adchachel, Aster Keep was opened for further exploration.
