The Catarine Defender was the mighty blade of Lord Damen Kephry, with which he cleared a path for Princess Catarin deSangre through enemy Seleucar lines, slaying thousands of Castomira's Royal Elites. The sword was most recognizable by its engraving: "Save the Queen".
The sword passed down through the generations to the scion of Aster Malik, Davis Kephry, in whose hands it became later named the Bringer of Tears.
