A dirk is much like a knife in design, though with a much longer blade. Both edges are sharpened. They generally weigh about ten pounds each, and are used primarily by members of the serpent class to deliver venoms directly into their target's bloodstream. Neele-pointed dirks typically do little to no damage unenvenomed.
The most famous dirk known as the Arsenic Fang, wielded by Lucius Errikale, was shattered by Lucaine Pyramides during the Wars of Succession.
Adventurers may purchase one of three artefact dirks: the Assassin's Dirk, Buckawn's Spine, or Thoth's Fang.
